What Makes an Inspiring Leader?

Often clients remark on my ability to achieve results and inspire amazing performance from teams and individuals. I have no secret formula. To inspire others, you must communicate clearly the vision and goal. You must be an ever-present role model of organizational ethics and citizenship. Your motto must be “Do as I say and do”!

In the words of J.C. Watts, “Character is doing the right thing when nobody’s looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that’s right is to get by, and the only thing that’s wrong is to get caught”.

Leaders do the right thing; expect the right thing; and reward the right thing. Employees excel when they understand the character of the organization and the organization’s character is aligned with their personal goals. Following this simple strategy will result in ardent followers and doers!
